DSW is the first retailer in the world to offer the Imbox Deodorizer. The rollout launched at the beginning of October, making DSW the only retailer to offer the full IMBOX service range og shoe protection and shoe deodorizer.
The Imbox Deodorizer removes and prevents odor in seconds, leaving a fresh fragrance behind so customers can hold on to that just-bought feeling for longer. The treatment takes 30 seconds, and with just 15 seconds more, shoes can also be treated with the Imbox Deodorizer. The formula is water-based, PFAS-free, and skin-safe.
It works on all materials, including wool lining, and on both new and used shoes. On new shoes, it extends the fresh-shoe feeling and helps prevent odor; on used shoes, it removes odor that’s already there.
The deodorizer is a new function added to Imbox’s existing Imbox Flagship machine, the same award-winning in-store unit DSW has operated since its rollout across U.S. stores in 2025.
Imbox Flagship uses globally patented technology to spray a water-based, PFAS-free formula that forms an invisible shield on the shoe, protecting it from water, dirt, stains, and colour fading from the sun. The treatment works all year round - not just through the rainy months.
